Gary Standley

Gary Standley is a senior broadcast journalist for BBC Voices, a media workshop and production unit based at The Forum in Norwich.

The project offers free film and radio training for the public as well as a range of opportunities for schools. It produces a weekly BBC radio programme about the Norfolk music scene, called BBC Introducing in Norfolk, an online music mag and many filmed sessions and reports on local bands. BBC Voices also runs a Children and Young People’s Film Festival and the BBC Music Video Festival, which is the UK’s only dedicated music video festival.

The music video festival started as a showcase for Norfolk acts, but now receives entries from throughout the UK and around the world. The Festival takes place in Fusion at The Forum in Norwich and on Big Screens in 20 town and city centres.
