We end the day with a dazzling award show. We grant outstanding multimedia students in different categories (e.g. 3D, Webdesign, audiovisual projects, …) the MULTI-MANIA 07 awards.

Every year we reserve one very special award – the junior web award -- for upcoming talent. Last-year secondary students are invited to enter the Multi-Mania competition.

The award for the best 3D Animation is for a short film produced by an individual or team of students displaying outstanding use of 3D graphics and animation technics...

The award for  best Motion Design is for a short video project produced by an individual or team of students displaying outstanding use of motion graphics,audio and animation technics...

The award for  best RIA  is for a Rich Internet Application developed in Flash or Flex and produced by an individual or team of students displaying outstanding use of Actionscript 2.0 / 3.0 and other general developer technics...

The award for  best Interactive video project is for an CD ROM/ DVD application developed in Flash and produced by an individual or team of students displaying outstanding use of video in combination with Actionscript scripting skills. Important is that the project is INTERACTIVE as much as possible and the video has a leading role to bring the Multimedia message to the target audience.

The award for  best HTML portfolio is for a small portfolio web site produced by an individual student displaying outstanding use of HTML scripting and great design skills.

Every first year student from University College of West-Flanders, MCT  automatically takes part in the competition with his Webdesign 1 portfolio project. 

The award for  best Upcoming Flash Talent is for a small Flash website produced by an individual student displaying outstanding use of animation basics, vector graphics, javascript integration and interactivity.

Every first year student from University College of West-Flanders, MCT  automatically takes part in the competition with his Webdesign 2  final year project. 

The award for  best Multimedia Integration Project is for a multimedia project produced by an individual or team of students displaying outstanding and creative  use of multimedia (video, 3D, scripting,....) .

Every student Multimedia and Communicationtechnology, option Multimedia from University college of West-Flanders automatically takes part in this competition with his MMA (Multimedia project) final year project.
Award participation is also open to other Multimedia students from all Belgium Universities.
